Pat, the owner of the company is highly responsible and professional. He came on time for the first assessment, explained how they are going to do the job and gave me a fair price. All work was done according to the schedule, in a timely fashion. They cut and trimmed 15 leyland cypresses in my backyard. The crew was very nice and hard working. The quality – first class. They carefully cleaned everything around. I highly recommend this company and would hire them again.

Just a great company all around. So friendly and such good work. The man called us about the job while on a cruise. We were so surprised. The whole job from beginning to end was expertly done and cleaned up. Even helped us put some of the mulch from our 40 foot tree into containers so we could use it around the house. Can’t say enough.

Pat responded to my request for an estimate in a quick and timely manner. They showed up on time and went about their business in a professional manner. Job was done and clean-up complete before I could have my second cup of coffee. They even tolerated me watching and asking questions. I had a Cypress and 2 large bushes removed for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

We are very pleased with the professionalism of Pat and his crew. We had several Leyland cypress trees taken out of our yard and everything was done to our complete satisfaction, all in one day, including grinding the stumps and taking everything away. We chose Pat Poore with American tree company because he was so friendly and personable, and very knowledgeable and professional as well. We would highly recommend him to anyone who needs work done in their yard. We know we will be calling them again!

They trimmed 5 to 6 branches for $300. Fine if that would have taken care of the problem long term, which is what I wanted. Not the case here. I will have to go up and get the higher branches that concerned me. Not what I had hoped for.
Response by : I did cut 5 or 6 branches off this customers deck & house. 6" to 8" dia. Aprox. 20' long. Had to climb this tree & lower the limbs by ropes. Cleared house & deck as agreed, did not agree to climb 50' up & remove top limbs over roof for $300 dollars. Customer was there & I told him if he wanted the top limbs removed, it would be $200 dollars more. He paid the original estimate then complained to Home Advisor.

This company had the right equipment to do the job. They removed two large bradford pear trees from our driveway and were out of here in 3 hours, everything was cleaned up and it looked like the trees were never there. Excellent workmanship. They worked in a professional manorism.

any work that you want to have done by this contractor, get it in writing.
Response by : Trimmed 3 large bushes & filled in a big hole with top soil for this customer. After completion of the job, she wanted me to install new bushes around her house. I told the customer that was not part of the agreement. The entire job was $150 dollars & these were large bushes. The customer paid me when the job was completed. I sent the customer her money back the next day. The customer still complained? You can't please everyone I guess.

Pat really knows his trees, and did a complete renovation of our backyard. It was a jungle, now it looks like a garden with just the right amount of shade. If you are looking for more than just tree removal and shrub trimming, then American Tree Company will give satisfying results.

ATS called me right away and gave me an estimate on the spot. Pat Poore had the work done within a week and the job was done beautifully. I came back home to see my tree pruned, my bushes trimmed and mulch nicely and neatly spread around my bushes. I would recommend American Tree to anyone. Ps I sold my house the following weekend.
